Services

The Port Hope Police Service is a full-service police organization. As such, we provide services that go beyond patrolling the community, preventing crime and investigating illegal activity. 

This section of our website provides information about our services including fulfilling Freedom of Information Requests and our Screening Program (Background checks).

We are also happy to provide resources and information for all ages through our Adults, Children, and Teen sections with a specific resource area for Seniors issues.

Our Understanding the Law section provides general information about everyday issues that we all face such as matters dealing with Family Law, the Tenancy Protection Act, and the Highway Traffic Act and hopefully we can answer questions for victims of crime dealing with how the justice system works and the rights afforded to them by legislation.
