Media Release - December 10, 2024   Media Release - December 10, 2024 Port Hope Police Investigating Vehicle Mischiefs on Arthur Street The Port Hope Police Service is actively investigating a series of mischief incidents involving vehicles in the Arthur Street area. These occurrences have been reported between October 2024 and December 2024. PHPS is encouraging residents to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activity or additional incidents of vehicle mischief. Media Release - November 29, 2024   Media Release November 29, 2024   A 37-year-old Port Hope male was arrested and charged with spousal assault following an interaction with his ex-girlfriend. On November 26, 2024, police responded to a call at a residence in Port Hope regarding a domestic disturbance involving the victim's ex-boyfriend, who refused to leave the property. Following an argument, the victim tried to prevent the accused from leaving the residence. During the altercation, the accused struck the victim in the face multiple times with his hat and spat in her face. The male was subsequently
