Armed Robbery

On Tuesday October 18, 2022, Port Hope Police responded to an Armed Robbery in progress at the Guardian Pharmacy located at Toronto Road, Port Hope. A lone male entered into the Pharmacy and brandished a firearm. He demanded money from the cash and safe, along with pharmaceutical narcotics. The male fled from Police and a brief foot pursuit ensued with officers. The male was ultimately arrested without incident. This male has been charged with several weapon offences and drug offences. Charged is 20yr old Royon Henry -McLean of the Scarborough Ajax area.
