Drive Motor Vehicle-Perform Stunt

As a result of operating a vehicle in a manner to perform a stunt, a 23 year old male from Cobourg Ontario is facing charges of drive motor vehicle- perform stunt. The male had his vehicle towed and impounded for seven (7) days. The male was charged after a police officer observed the driver accelerating away from a stop sign so fast the vehicle tires lost traction on the pavement, and the driver just missed hitting an oncoming vehicle.  The male was released on a summons to attend court in June, 2021 to answer to the charge.
