Domestic Violence Arrest – Charges Laid

On November 1, 2025, members of the Port Hope Police Service responded to a 911 call regarding a domestic disturbance.

As a result of the investigation, a 23-year-old Port Hope woman was arrested and charged with:

  • Uttering Threats to Cause Death or Bodily Harm

  • Assault

The incidents involved a domestic dispute that occurred on October 31 and November 1, 2025. Both offences took place in the presence of the couple’s young children.

The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing. Highland Shores Children’s Aid Society was notified and has since made arrangements for the care of the children.
